Raphy Amar, the esteemed owner and driving force behind Gladstone’s Caterers, has spent over 30 years shaping the kosher catering industry, bringing his culinary expertise to Toronto, Los Angeles, and Montreal before establishing Toronto’s premier kosher catering company.
Raphy’s journey began in Los Angeles, where he honed his craft catering high-profile events, including serving former U.S. President Ronald Reagan. His talent and dedication led him to Montreal, where he continued refining his approach to kosher cuisine, combining authentic tradition with modern innovation. Upon arriving in Toronto, Raphy made history as the first caterer to hold exclusive rights to the renowned banquet hall, Le Parc, setting a new standard for high-end kosher catering in the city. This milestone laid the foundation for what would become Gladstone’s Caterers, now the largest and longest-established kosher catering company in Toronto.
With over 3,000 events to his name, Raphy has catered intimate family gatherings, grand weddings, corporate galas, and large-scale fundraisers, ensuring that every occasion—regardless of size—is executed with impeccable service, attention to detail, and culinary excellence.
